Period Danish Empire Chest of Drawers Denmark c. 1810 Danish Empire - or what we would refer to as "Biedermeier" - chest of drawers. Beautifully inlaid with walnut and golden birch. Key included. Engraved on back "Renoverad 7/5 1981 Martin Hermansson." This translates as restored on May 7, 1981 by Martin Mermansson. Price $5,800 Condition Extremely good condition for a period piece. Antique repairs are visible and slight crazing in original finish. Has been professionally polished and restored by our craftsmen. Very strong and sturdy.
